Dolce Vita Pictures is an independent film production company driven by a passion for storytelling and a commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices. Founded by Marwa Bernstein and Jane Keller, whose friendship evolved into a creative partnership, the company is dedicated to a vision of bringing untold stories to the screen. When Marwa, a producer and actress, received a powerful script written nearly 50 years ago by her 93-year-old friend Julo, she was determined to share this little-known era of pre-war Germany. Although praised by Truffaut and optioned by Judy Davis and CAA, the screenplay was never produced. Marwa shared the script with Emmy Award-nominated editor and producer Jane Keller, and their shared vision led to a lasting collaboration. At Dolce Vita Pictures, we collaborate with visionary creatives to produce memorable films with exceptional talent.
